Lasker, Joe

After winning the Prix de Rome, working free lance and as a visiting professor, Joseph Leon Lasker began illustrating Miriam Schlein books in the 1960s. He later began illustrating his own titles, beginning with Mothers Can Do Anything (1972), focusing on histories and books about special children.
