Cooper, T. B. (Thomas B.)

In 1904 T. B. Cooper completed and had bound in seven volumes his massive manuscript translation and abridgement of Lewis Ellies DuPin's "A New History of Ecclesiastical Writers" (London, 1693). He had begun this work, according to the note in Volume I, at Ogechee, Georgia, 26 April, 1881. The manuscripts form a fascinating look at one man's attempts to coordinate and assimilate a massive amount of the world's ecclesiastical and social history.

From the description of T. B. Cooper - Dupin condensed, 1881-1904. (University of Georgia). WorldCat record id: 301735499
