Europe North Area (Church unit : 1991-2000)
The Area was created in July 1987 as the British Isles/Africa Area. The name was changed to the United Kingdom/Ireland/Africa Area in December 1987; the United Kingdom/Ireland Area in August 1990; and the Europe North Area in May 1991. At the time of the 1991 change the Area relinquished responsibility for Africa and assumed responsibility for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
