Fox, Muriel, 1928-
Muriel Fox was a public relations executive and one of the founders of the National Organization for Women. She served NOW as vice president (1967-1970), chair of the board (1971-1973), and chair of the national advisory committee (1973-1974). A spokeswoman for women's rights for almost 40 years, she was also active in the NOW Legal Defense & Education Fund and the National Women's Political Caucus.
