Aston of Forfar, Walter Aston, Baron, 1609-1678
The Aston family owned Tixall Hall, near Stafford, and was passed onto the Clifford family when Barbara Aston, the daughter of James Aston, the fifth Lord Aston of Forfar, married Thomas Clifford in 1762.
