Rankin, Robert, 1887-1966.
A native of Scotland, Robert Rankin emigrated to the United States in 1913 and became a professional chauffeur in 1919. Rankin became Clara Ford's chauffeur in 1938. Beginning in 1945, he drove for both Henry and Clara Ford. After Clara's death in 1950, he was a driver for the Ford Motor Company.
