Swanson, John A.
Swanson was born in Iowa and joined the Navy in 1956 as an Aviation Electronics Technician. He graduated from Purdue University in 1965, attended Officer Candidate School and Naval Flight Officers School and was eventually promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
