Amos, Rosalie Jean

Before coming to work at Iowa State University (1978-1999) in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences Education and the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Rosalie Jean Amos worked as an educational missionary (1955-1958) in home economics at Treacher Methodist Girls' School (Taiping, Malaysia), as an educational missionary (1961-1964) and as an advisor in home economics at the United Christian Schools (Jullundur City, Punjab, India), as an instructor (1970-1972) in a tailoring course at a vocational/technical school (Manhattan, Kansas), as a Research Assistant in the Department of Physical Biology (Cornell University), and as an Assistant Professor (1975-1978) in Home Economics Education (State University College, Oneonta, New York).
