Minnesota State Planning Agency. Health Planning Section.
The 1122 Review Program was a federal program designed to fund local health care projects. [The number "1122" refers to the section of the Social Security Act that defines the administration of the program.] The Planning Agency facilitated the program in Minnesota and worked with the state's seven regional health systems agencies. Funding went toward projects for health care facility constructions, reconstructions, expansions, and purchases of new and improved or updated equipment. The program ended ca. 1985 when federal funding ceased.
