Davis, Woodard E. (Woodard Extron), 1921-
Woodard Extron Davis was born September 17, 1921, in Riderwood, Alabama. He joined the U.S. Army Air Force in 1942, and advanced through the ranks to major general of the U.S. Air Force. He served as commander of the USAF Tactical Air Warfare Center, Eglin Air Force Base, from 1973 to 1974.
