T. E. Nicholas.
T. E. Nicholas, poet, preacher, lecturer and dentist was born in Llanfyrnach, Pembrokeshire. He was a pacifist during the First World War and was imprisoned during the Second World War for his political beliefs. He was a founder member of the Communist Party of Great Britain and lectured tirelessly on the Soviet Union.
Known by his bardic name, Niclas y Glais, he was a prolific writer of poetry and also regularly contributed articles to such journals as Y Genhinen, Y Darian and Y Cymro .
