Family Centered Project (Saint Paul, Minn.)

The Family Centered Project was a research and demonstration project under the auspices of the Greater St. Paul United Fund & Council. It sought to develop better means to coordinate and deliver social services by identifying and focusing on multiproblem families who require the attention of more than one agency. The records cover the 1954-1959 pilot project as well as the subsequent Work Reorientation Project, during which Family Centered Project staff served as advisors and evaluators for an application of family-centered casework techniques in the Ramsey County Welfare Department.
