Davidson, Robyn, 1950-....
Robyn Davidson was born on a Queensland cattle station in 1950. She attended a small local school before going to boarding school in Brisbane, and studying at the Universities of Queensland and Sydney. She moved to Alice Springs to prepare for a trip in 1977 by camel across the Gibson desert to Hamelin Pool in Western Australia.
