Inglis, Kenneth Stanley.

Ken Inglis is an historian whose books include The Australian Colonists, The Stuart Case, Hospital and Community, Churches and the Working Classes in Victorian England and Sacred Places: War Memorials in the Australian Landscape. He edited the ten volume, bicentennial history Australians: A Historical Library. Professor Inglis has written two books on the ABC, This is the ABC: The Australian Broadcasting Commission 1932-1983, and Whose ABC? : the Australian Broadcasting Corporation 1983-2006. His academic posts include Vice-Chancellor of the University of Papua New Guinea (1972 to 1975), Professor of Australian Studies at Harvard University (1982), and Emeritus Professor of History at the Australian National University. Additions totalling 78 boxes have been received and may be available to researchers upon prior arrangement with Manuscripts staff.
