United States. President's Interdepartmental Committee to Coordinate Health and Welfare Activities.
The Committee was appointed in August 1935 by Franklin D. Roosevelt to better coordinate the new government programs in the health field. It sponsored a National Health Conference in July 1938 and recommendations from it were submitted to Congress in January 1939.
