Johnson City Power Board.
Electric distribution system owned by the city of Johnson City, Tenn., and managed and operated by a power board. Established in 1945, the utility purchases electric power from the Tennessee Valley Authority and distributes power to customers in Johnson City, Washington County (Tenn.), and parts of Carter, Greene, and Sullivan Counties (all in Tennessee).
