Wichita Valley Railway Company
The Wichita Valley Railway Company was chartered in 1890 in Texas to construct and operate rail lines in north Texas. In 1905 the Colorado and Southern Railway Company gained control of the company, and in 1908, it became part of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad Company. In 1952 the company was merged into the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway Company.
