Engineer, designed first successful underwater radio controlled torpedo for the U.S. Navy, while working at the Hammond Radio Research Laboratory. Head of television department at Philco Corporation, worked with early development of television in the 1930s. Independent consulting television engineer based in Washington, D.C. after 1945.
