The Penn State Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs was created in 1995 under Robert Secor. The office is responsible for promoting faculty development, implementing administrative action in faculty and academic concerns, and representing the Provost in dealings with the CIC/Big Ten Conference, and Faculty Senate.
