The Center was established in 1964 to coordinate the use of facilities provided for research and instruction in psychology, sociology and social anthropology. The Center comprises the Department of Psychology and Social Relations, the Department of Sociology, the Psychological Laboratory, and the Social Anthropology Program of the Department of Anthropology.
