Cole, Margaret, 1893-1980
Dame Margaret Cole (1893-1980) was born at Cambridge, educated at Roedean and Girton College, Cambridge, and taught at St Paul's School, London, during the First World War. She had sympathies toward conscientious objection and was disinherited by her father for her views.
