Mitchell family.
Fred J. Mitchell and his brother Merrill R. Mitchell were farmers in Waverly, Illinois. Their sister Ula was married to Grover Bever, also a farmer. Fred and Merrill served tn the U.S. Army during World War I. Their nephew, Robert J. Mitchell, served in World War II.
