McMullan, Frank, 1907-1987

Frank Alonzo McMullan was born in Jonesboro, Georgia on October 12, 1907. He received a B.A. from the University of Georgia in 1928, the LL.B. from the Atlanta Law School in 1930, and the M.F.A. in drama from Yale University in 1934. McMullan was on the faculty of Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri from 1934 to 1936 and was on the Yale drama faculty from 1936 to 1965. Throughout his career he guest directed and taught at numerous professional and education theatres in the United States and abroad. He died in Canaan, Connecticut in 1987.
