Yih, Chia-shun, 1918-1997
Internationally known scientist and Stephen P. Timoshenko Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Fluid Mechanics at the University of Michigan. Selected in 1967 to give the Henry Russel Lecture, the highest honor the university bestows upon a senior faculty member. Fellow of American Physical Society, member of National Academy of Engineering, and member of the Chinese National Academy of Science (Academia Sinica).
