Knevet, Ralph, 1600-1671
Ralph Knevet, 1600-1671, poet, was a native of Norfolk, and tutor or chaplain to the family of Sir William Paston of Oxnead Hall, near Norwich. He is probably the same Ralph Knevet who was rector of the nearby parish of Lyng, from 1652 to 1671.
From the guide to the Three devotional poems, by Ralph Knevet, 1660s, (GB 206 Leeds University Library)
