Martorana, S. V. (Sebastian Vincent), 1919-2000

Sebastian Vincent Martorana was a national expert on community colleges. He held positions as Chief, State and Regional Organization of Higher Education, U.S. Office of Education, 1957-1963; Vice chancellor for Community Colleges and Provost for Vocational and Technical Education, State University of New York, 1965-1972; Professor of Higher Education in the College of Education, the Pennsylvania State University; and senior research associate in the Center for the Study of Higher Education at Penn State, 1972-1989.
