Canada. Royal Canadian Navy
Y Station was attached to HMCS Givenchy at HMC Dockyard, Esquimalt, a shore facility. Personnel were bussed up daily to Gordon Head to this top secret facility. Men, later Wrens listened to Japanese signals and these were later sent to Americans for translation and intelligence. Bruce Brown once drove the naval commander up to visit the station and that is why he donated the funds to have these copies generated. Copies come from the National Archives of Canada and cannot be reproduced without their permission.
