Brown, Robert O. (Robert Oliver), 1938-
Beginning in 1949 at age eleven, Robert O. Brown began collecting information on early Portland neighborhoods and their architecture and drew detailed drawings of Portland buildings and residences. As a delivery boy for the Oregonian, Brown became concerned with the destruction and remodeling of Victorian-style houses and began to document them. Many of these structures have since been destroyed.
