Riddle, Naomi, 1921-1998.

Naomi Riddle, originally Tenenholtz, was the younger of two daughters born to Alex Tenenholtz and Ethel Fishman on March 8, 1921, in the state of New York. Her father was well-known as both an actor in New York Yiddish Theater and as a character actor in early Hollywood films. His credits include at least 46 motion pictures from 1926 to 1939. A sampling of some of his roles, credited and uncredited, include: Upstage (1926), Bringing Up Father (1928), Hollywood Hoodlum (1934), and Let Freedom Ring (1939). Naomi, on the other hand, became well-known after she was hired as bandleader/composer/arranger Nelson Riddle's personal secretary. She later married Nelson Riddle on April 11, 1970.
