Marwick, William Hutton
William Hutton Marwick (b. 1894 in Nigeria) was educated at Edinburgh University. A conscientious objector during the First World War, he was imprisoned at Wormwood Scrubs before being employed on the Home Office Work Scheme at Wakefield and in Wales. He served with the Friends' War Victims Relief on the Western Front, 1918-1919.
