Weimer, Jan

Jan Weimer, a graduate of the Paris Cordon Bleu, was a prolific food writer and well-known food consultant whose expertise ranged from recipe and menu construction to kitchen layout and design. Weimer held the position of executive food editor for Bon AppeĢtit from 1981-1989, as well as the positions of assistant food editor for the San Francisco Chronicle; chief culinary officer of Chefstore.com; and consultant to Princess Cruises, Trefethen Winery, and numerous restaurants and individuals.
