Banker and civic leader, of Worcester, Mass.; member of many area clubs and societies; was president of Worcester Historical Society, Bancroft School Alumni Association, and the Visiting Nurse Association; was prominent member of the United Congregational Church, the Worcester Fire Society, and the American Antiquarian Society.
