Central Michigan University. Creative Arts Gallery.

The Gallery existed 1964-May 1993, when it was discontinued by the University. It's purpose was to house traveling exhibits of art from the U.S. and abroad, and to display the art of Central Michigan University students and various Mount Pleasant and Michigan artists. It also hosted an annual art sale and juried student art exhibit. The exhibits covered a wide range of art in various formats. Mrs. Madeline Csendes was the first director. The Gallery was housed in the lower level of the Bovee University Center.
