Episcopal Society for Cultural and Racial Unity (U.S.)

The Episcopal Society for Cultural and Racial Unity was organized in 1958 to advocate racial unity in Episcopal Churches and their communities. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the society operated until 1970.

When twenty ESCRU members in a diocese convened they could establish a chapter; Chicago (Ill.), New York (State), New York (city), and Boston (Mass.) formed the largest chapters.
