Cabell family.

Represented in the collection are Edward Carrington Cabell (1816- 1896), of Jefferson County, Fla., Richmond, Va. and Washington, D.C., member of the United States House of Representatives and president of the Pensacola and Georgia Railroad; Henry Coalter Cabell (1820-1889) of Richmond, Va., who served in several artillery units in the Confederate States Army of Northern Virginia; and William H. Cabell (1772-1852), also of Richmond.
