Catholic Church. Apostolic Nunciature (Burundi)
The apostolic nunciature for Burundi was established in 1963. Previously this area had been the responsibility of the apostolic delegation in the Congo and Ruanda-Urundi. The nuncio to Zaire also serves as the nuncio to Burundi.
