Sinkov, Abraham, 1907-

Abraham Sinkov was cryptoanalyst in the United States (U.S.) military during World War (WWII) and as a civilian after the war. He was a member of a team that broke the Japanese PURPLE code in 1940. He helped to establish the Central Bureau under General MacArthur. He was Chief of Central Bureau at war's end.
