Murphy, Minnie Hall.

Minnie Hall Murphy, the mother of Antoinette Perry (1888-1946), actress and director for whom the Tony Awards were named, wrote this narrative on the westward journey of her mother, Mary Hill Nevin Hall, Perry's grandmother, who travelled from Michigan to Colorado in 1858 as part of the Pike's Peak or Bust expedition.

From the description of Mary Hill Nevin Hall maunscript, undated. (New York Public Library). WorldCat record id: 122314219
