Morey, Warren B., Rev.
Morey came to Iowa in 1840 as a missionary sent by the American Baptist Home Mission Society. He was appointed missionary to Dubuque in the Iowa Territory in 1840 and then sent to Iowa City in 1841 and later to Keosauqua. In 1842 Morey was serving as the secretary of the Iowa Baptist General Association.
