Cheves, Henry Charles.
South Carolina businessman. With his brother Langdon Cheves (1848-1940), a Charleston, S.C. lawyer, Henry C. Cheves managed several rice plantations owned by family members. He was the son of Charles Manly Cheves (1825-1855) and Isabella Middleton Cheves (1826-1912). Henry C. Cheves married L. Cheves McCord.
