Fraternity of Saint Barbara.

The fraternity appears to have been founded in London in 1813 with Rev. Robert Nixon as its first patron. It had a library and met at Daniel Benham's house and Nixon's home in Burr Street, Smithfield. The members, mostly contemporaries at Cambridge, included Jame Jenkins, Samuel Prosser, John Bathurst Deane, Samuel James Allen, Richard Hill, James Gomme and James Burleigh.
