Ross, Carl A., 1931-1988.
Carl Augustus Ross, Jr. (1931-1988) was a history professor at Appalachian State University from 1966 to 1988 and the director of the Center for Appalachian Studies from 1984 to 1988. He taught Appalachian History and Latin American courses, researched local and regional history, and served various Appalachian historical associations, publications and societies.
