Hoffman, John Evans, 1842-1863.
Lt. John Evans Hoffman served in the 3rd West Virginia Cavalry Regiment, Company C (1861-1863). He saw action primarily in northern Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania during the Gettysburg Campaign.
