Ripon, George Frederick Samuel Robinson, 1st Marquess, 1827-1909
George Frederick Samuel Robinson, Marquess of Ripon, was a British statesman who served as viceroy of India. He chaired the commission to negotiate settlement of the Alabama claims with the United States in 1871. He also held the title Earl de Grey.
