Weber, Paul, 1904-1983.

Starting his career as an instructor in Chemical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Paul Weber rose to assume the directorship of this department. While teaching, he also carried on research through the Engineering Experiment Station. Beginning in 1955, he served as Dean of Faculties. Perhaps his greatest contribution to Georgia Tech came with his serving as Acting President from January 1956 to August 1957, while still holding the title of Dean of Faculties. In 1966 he assumed the position of Vice President for Planning.
