Greenwood, Frederick, 1889-1962
Frederick Greenwood was born in 1889 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He eventually settled in Portland, Oregon, and became a prominent banker in the city. He headed the local branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Franicsco in the 1910s, and later became the manager of the Portland branch of the Bank of California. He was active in professional, civic and cultural affairs, including the American Bankers Association and the Portland Symphony Orchestra.
