Griggs, Karen Ann
Karen Ann Griggs (born 1945) was a faculty cataloger at the Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University.
Born in Utah and raised in Hawaii, has a Bachelor of Arts in music performance and a Masters of Library and Information Science from Brigham Young University (BYU). She is the mother of seven and grandmother of thirteen. Her interests include family, church, friends, reading, music, geneology, and travel. As a faculty cataloger at BYU, her subject area responsibilities include U.S. history, local history, genealogy, and also cataloging the non-print media that is housed in the Learning Resource Center. She serves as the team leader for the Special Formats team and is active in Utah Library Association activities. She has created a Union List of Local Histories and Genealogies for Five North-Central Counties of West Virginia and has also presented a paper on the History of Utah Valley during the "Move South" -- 1858, at the Mormon History Association Conference in Tucson, 2002.
