Center for Death Penalty Litigation.
Non-profit law firm that represents inmates on North Carolina's death row. Its work often involves the investigation of racism and the judicial process, and the treatment of the mentally challenged who are charged with crimes in North Carolina. Founded in Durham, N.C., in 1995 after the state and federal governments discontinued funding for its predecessor, the North Carolina Resource Center.
