Commission of Professors of Adult Education
The Commission of Professors of Adult Education (CPAE) was established in 1959 as a division of what is now the American Association of Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE). CPAE’s purposes are to support graduate professional adult education, to increase the relevance and quality of dissertations in the field, and to encourage and support professional adult education research.
