Julius Hammond Ward, b. Charlton, Mass. Episcopal clergyman, author. Yale 1860. Berkeley Divinity School 1862. Rector of parishes at Cheshire, Conn., Rockland and Thomaston, Me., and Marblehead, Mass. Beginning in 1878, he was chiefly engaged in literary work. On staff of Boston Herald. Author of The Bible in Modern Thought, The Church in Modern Society, etc.
